This project comes from a need for an internal Marketing department team that had difficulties in guaranteeing the access of its affiliated distributors spread in some countries of South America to the communication files. The main problem was when a distributor claimed not to have received a file, which created a situation of doubt, since there was no control or source of truth to consult.
The Marketing Portal came to become the official communication channel, putting an end to any suspicions or doubts, every file would be available there with several important information from those who uploaded it, to whom the file is available, which distributor saw and downloaded it for example.
As part of my process from the beginning I try to understand what the main problem we want to solve. I starts conversation with stakeholders focusing on understanding the current journey with which they have problems and how our project can improve this experience with sharing files.
Despite being a project with a closed scope, there were still no product and business definitions that would lead to development and experience. So it was necessary to define which profiles would be the profiles and their respective roles within the platform.

I like to always look outside my context and look at different ways of dealing with the problem. What file management products already do, how do they, what are the points of success or difficulty. Always thinking about how I can learn from this and design the best solution for my context.
As an immediate result, we eliminate the mistrust between internal users and distributors, as well as bringing an analytical view to file management. I am very proud that the project that started only in Brazil was validated and released to all of South America, as can be seen here.
The main personal learning was to reconcile the freedom to create an internal solution from scratch, aligning the interests of various stakeholders with the needs of the product, taking into account the visual guidelines of a major brand and seeing how this enhanced the final delivery of the experience.
